Analog Tape & Preservation
Digital Encoding System Studio has operated since 2000 with deep expertise in analog tape preservation, transfer and restoration. The studio maintains a full range of professional tape machines capable of handling formats from ¼″ to 2″, ensuring precise playback of historic multitrack and master recordings.
Each transfer is preceded by mechanical calibration, azimuth alignment and format-specific setup. Noise reduction decoding systems such as Dolby A, Dolby SR and DBX are carefully applied when required, guaranteeing maximum fidelity and full respect of the original recording.
Immersive & Digital Systems
D.E.S. Studio operates advanced digital workstations designed for immersive and object-based audio production. The control room is calibrated for Dolby Atmos workflows, ensuring spatial accuracy, depth and precise object placement within a controlled monitoring environment.
From multitrack session preparation to immersive mix delivery, the studio integrates analog heritage sources with modern digital systems, enabling seamless transition from tape to Atmos while preserving musical integrity.
High-Resolution Production
D.E.S. Studio provides high-resolution mastering and format production for both stereo and immersive releases. Each project is finalized with meticulous attention to dynamic range, tonal balance and platform-specific technical requirements.
The studio also supports SACD authoring and premium physical formats, ensuring optimal translation across digital streaming platforms and high-definition physical media.
